2024 Application Deadline
Rising Putnam County high school juniors must submit completed applications by the following deadlines:
- Priority deadline: May 1, 2024
- Final deadline: May 10, 2024

Placement Testing
- High School GPA: If your high school GPA is a 3.6 or higher, you do not need additional placement testing.
- ACT: If you have already taken the ACT and meet the minimum score requirements, send a screen shot of your ACT scores to pcmc@volstate.edu. The screen shot must show your full name, your ACT composite score, and ACT sub scores. Do not submit an ACT Superscore.
- ACCUPLACER: If you do not have a minimum 3.6 high school GPA or an acceptable ACT score, see the ACCUPLACER information below.
ACCUPLACER
Prospective PCMC students who do not have a 3.6 high school GPA or the required minimum ACT scores (English 18, Reading 19, Math 19) can take the ACCUPLACER at Vol State for free. Click on the link below for information and instructions.
