American Heart Association Training Center
We are an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center and provide Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses monthly. As an American Heart Association Training Center, we oversee 200 instructors and three training sites. We also offer quality AHA certification courses routinely at our Gallatin campus. All courses offered through the training center and our training sites adhere to the AHA guidelines outlined in the Program Administration Manual.

Health Care
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
The Center of Emphasis Health Sciences Continuing Education offers a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification Program (CCMA). This ten-month program prepares students for employment in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, as well as physician practices/offices.
EKG Technician
EKG Technicians are vital members of the health care team. The perform diagnostic tests, which are instrumental in helping doctors identify cardiovascular problems in patients.
Patient Care Technician
Patient Care Technicians/Clinical Medial Assistants, assist doctors, nurses, and other health care professional in providing direct patient care in a variety of health care settings: hospitals and outpatient settings such as physician offices.
Phlebotomy Technician
Phlebotomists are in high demand in the healthcare field. The phlebotomy course is a combination of online learning, practical labs, and a rotation in a clinical setting. This course is designed to prepare students for the NHA (National Healthcareer Association) Phlebotomy Technician certification exam.
Central Sterile Processing Technician
Central Sterile Processing (CSP) Technician prevents infection by sterilizing, cleaning, processing, storing, and distributing medical supplies. The CSP Technician work in hospitals, surgery centers as well as outpatient medical facilities.
