To be eligible for the Putnam County Middle College, the student must:
- Be a rising junior in one of the following Putnam County high schools:
- Cookeville High School
- Monterey High School
- Upperman High School
- VITAL School
- White Plains Academy
- Have appropriate college-level placement scores (at least one of the following):
- ACT scores: 18 English, 19 Reading, 19 Math, or
- ACCUPLACER: 250 Writing, 250 Reading, 250 Math, or
- Final Sophomore High School GPA 3.6 (note: students who use GPA for this purpose during the spring PCMC application period can only receive conditional admission until the final sophomore year GPA is posted)
- Notify their high school counselor that they are interested in applying to the Putnam County Middle College
- Complete all components of the Putnam County Middle College application, including required recommendations
