Vol State Team Successful at SkillsUSA Conference

On April 14th-17th, The Computer Information Technology department fielded the 2023-2024 SkillsUSA team to participate in the State of Tennessee Leadership and Skills Conference 2024. The team participated in four championship competitions.  Representing Vol State was:

CIT Department Presents Free Cybersecurity Webinar October 21

The Volunteer State Community College Computer Information Technology Department is presenting a Cybersecurity Awareness Month Webinar on Wednesday, October 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Titled “If You Connect It, Protect It,” the webinar will include the topics: Securing Devices at Home and Work; The Future of Connected Devices; and Volunteer State Community College Internet of Things (IOT)/Connected devices. Presenters will include experts from the FBI and the State of Tennessee.
