Vol State Foundation Raises $39,000 with Virtual Event

The Volunteer State College Foundation raised more than $39,000 with a virtual Complete the Dream event earlier this fall. Sumner Regional Medical Center was the title sponsor for the virtual event that featured magician and author, Jason Michaels. Attendees, who were at their homes, were able to purchase a “Dream Box” which included food and drink for six people, catered by Myers Front Porch, and two bottles of wine, donated by Bluegrass Beverages.

Vol State Inaugurates New Swine and Dine Fundraiser

The Volunteer State Foundation is taking their annual dinner out to the ranch this year for the new Swine and Dine fundraiser on September 20. It’s designed to be a fun night of music, entertainment, and a barbecue themed dinner by Chef Christopher. It will be held in the relaxed atmosphere of the Bagsby Ranch in Gallatin. Money raised will be used to support Vol State student scholarships and college special projects. There are state programs that cover tuition for many students.

Vol State Golf Tourney Fundraiser Tees-Up August 6

Golfers can tee-up to support athletics at Vol State on Monday, August 6. Individuals and teams can compete for prizes and bragging rights at the twelfth annual Business Credit Reports Athletic Association Golf Classic, benefiting the Volunteer State Athletic Association. Registration is open now. Highlights of the event are the Volunteer State Bank Paul Warren Memorial Corporate Cup Challenge and the Business Credit Reports Four Man Scramble. The tournament will be held at Fairvue Plantation in Gallatin.
