Vol State Increases In-Person Classes for Fall Semester

Volunteer State Community College is welcoming students back to school with more in-person classes this fall. The college will be increasing the number of on-ground classes available on all four campuses: Springfield, Gallatin, Cookeville, and Livingston. The college will also be expanding opportunities for students to engage in campus activities while still maintaining safety measures. Vol State classes have been primarily online for the last year, due to COVID-19.

Current Students – Register Now for Fall

Vol State is looking forward to welcoming students back with in-person classes this fall!

Current students can register at any time on My Vol State. However, everyone is encouraged to register earlier than usual this year, so that you get the course times and days that you want. There are some changes to My Vol State. We have details here.

Welcome to Vol State

We’re getting ready for a big fall semester at Vol State. We’ve been visiting with new students attending Campus Connect orientation. We’re also working closely with adults who want to use the brand new TN Reconnect program this fall. It provides tuition-free classes for adults who don’t already have a college degree. If you’re interested, it’s time to get going! The first steps are to apply for the Reconnect program and then apply to Vol State. You can all of that at www.volstate.edu/reconnect

New Professional Music Degree and Tuition-Free Classes this Fall

The big news for the fall semester at Volunteer State Community College is the tuition-free program for adults called Tennessee Reconnect. It’s designed for adults who don’t already have a college degree. They can take classes full or part-time in all of Vol State’s academic areas. It includes day, evening and online courses. There are some stipulations and additional eligibility requirements. For details, and a simple list of how to get started, people can visit www.volstate.edu/reconnect.
