Vol State and UT Martin Made It Possible!

Vol State and UT Martin announced plans for a pathway toward a bachelor’s degree in Roberston County! Courses will be on-site at Vol State’s Springfield Campus. Some coursework will be experiential learning, offered at a farm. Students can begin and finish the associate's to bachelor's pathway all in Robertson County. Students can also get a head start on degree coursework while still in high school through dual enrollment. See below for more information on dual enrollment opportunities.

You can get a head start now on this pathway through dual enrollment simultaneously with both Vol State and UT Martin.

Dual Enrollment Course Modality

Vol State and UT Martin classes will be offered in an online format with labs for ANSC 110 and PLSC 110 held at the Highland Rim AgResearch and Education Center.

Dual Enrollment Financial Aid and Extent of Coverage

For eligible students, tuition and fees are covered by the TSAC Dual Enrollment Grant and gap scholarships from Vol State and UT Martin. Eligibility requirements for the gap scholarships include:

  • Must be signed up for and following this Vol State / UT Martin Agri-Business pathway in a Robertson County public high school
  • Must have applied for and be eligible for the TSAC Dual Enrollment Grant
  • Must apply and be accepted to both Vol State and UT Martin for dual enrollment
  • Regarding tuition costs not covered by the TSAC Dual Enrollment Grant in classes 6-10:
    • UT Martin will provide a gap scholarship for tuition costs for UT Martin classes
    • Vol State will provide a gap scholarship for tuition costs for Vol State classes for students who take all general education courses with Vol State on this pathway
