Belmont University and Volunteer State Community College announced today a new partnership that allows Vol State associate degree students the opportunity to earn a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Belmont’s Jack C. Massey College of Business.
The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Associate Degree Board of Commissioners has reaffirmed accreditation of the business programs at Volunteer State Community College. Vol State has associate of applied science degrees, designed for direct entry into the workforce. The college also offers business degrees designed for university transfer.
Andrew White is the new dean of Business and Technology at Volunteer State Community College. He worked at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville as director of the Aerospace and Defense Business Institute and as director of the Aerospace and Defense MBA Program. He also served with the United States Air Force as squadron commander and public affairs director.
