In today’s academic environment, the well-being of students is paramount. Institutions recognize the challenges that may arise, such as drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and mental health concerns. To support students through these difficulties, a range of resources is available, including counseling services, crisis hotlines, and support groups. These resources are designed to provide guidance and assistance, ensuring that every student has access to the help they need. It is crucial to foster an atmosphere of openness, enabling students to seek the necessary support without hesitation.
Volunteer State Community College has a thriving network of community resources. This resource page is an ongoing development and is meant to aid anyone and everyone in our community. You do not have to be a currently enrolled student to access and use any of these community resources.
We have compiled a list of resources to help you and your families. This list is not an inclusive list and we do our best to keep the information current and correct. Please contact the Office of Student Engagement & Support at student.engagement@volstate.edu, (615) 230-3492, or Wood Campus Center 215 on the Gallatin Campus if you have any questions, need assistance, or would like to add your resource to this list.
