Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the same academic freedom and responsibility is expressed with regard to non-credit faculty as is to college credit faculty and to reference the additional responsibilities included in their teaching agreement.
General Conditions
Non-credit faculty are entitled to the same academic freedom and are obligated to the same classroom responsibilities as college credit faculty described in TBR policy 5:02:03:30. Additional responsibilities are prescribed in the Notice of Employment of CEU Adjunct Faculty.
In no instance is the faculty member free to solicit or advertise for a company, an agency, a business, or an industry using the classroom as a resource for clientele.
