It’s a repeat championship for Volunteer State Community College students taking part in a competition of Radiologic Technology knowledge recently. It was part of the annual meeting of the Tennessee Society of Radiologic Technologists held in Clarksville. Technologists are the professionals who perform x-rays and other radiographic imaging of patients in hospitals and clinics. Teams of four students from across Tennessee competed in a single elimination student quiz bowl. There were a total of nine teams participating. The Vol State team of Shelby Wright, Tammy Cochran, Maria Trout, and Brooksie Godboldt won all rounds of the competition, taking home first place. A Vol State team also won the competition last year.
