Alicia Gillespie of Gallatin is returning to Volunteer State Community College to take on the role of director of Accounting. Gillespie was most recently assistant director of Financial Accounting and Budgets for the Tennessee Board of Regents in Nashville. She worked at Vol State previously as an account clerk and College Bursar. She is also a Vol State alumnus, graduating in 2000 with an Associate of Science Degree in Business and Accounting. Gillespie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University in 2002, and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Tennessee Tech University in 2005
