Fredric Blumberg collected theater masks. He taught theater for many years as a university professor in New York. In retirement he also volunteered with the Volunteer State Community College Theater Department. On his passing those passions combined for a unique gift. The Blumberg family recently made a donation of comedy/tragedy theater masks to the Vol State Humanities Division. The masks, which Blumberg collected from all over the world, will be on display in the coming year in the SRB Humanities Building on the campus in Gallatin. Details will be announced later.
