New Students: Get Ready for Fall Classes

Vol State students on the Gallatin campus.

Get ready for Fall classes at Vol State.

The college will be back to in-person classes on all four campuses for the fall semester while also offering online classes for students who still want those formats.

You can visit any of our campuses for help: Gallatin, Livingston, Springfield, and Cookeville - visit our campuses information page for more details.

As a result of a change in CDC recommendations and following guidance from the Chancellor, Vol State will return to requiring masks in indoor settings effective Monday, August 2nd.  This is due to the current level of community transmission of COVID in our service area.  Masks are required regardless of vaccination status.  As was previously the case, masks will be required at all times inside all Vol State locations except when you are in a private office or when dining.  Masks will not be required out-of-doors. We hope that this will be a short-term requirement and that this precaution will help to reverse the current increase in cases in our service area.   When the case counts drop, we will be able to change the mask requirement.
