The Volunteer State Community College Fall Graduate Awards have been announced. Congratulations to the winners.
Khandis Bush of Murfreesboro has received the Hal R. Ramer Award. The honor goes to a graduate who has faced extreme adversity and succeeded because of fortitude in the face of adversity.
Katelyn Marshall of Hendersonville has received the Pathfinder Award, given to a student who has demonstrated significant personal and academic growth and is expected to continue on a path toward greater success.
Rachel Keyes of Asheville, N.C. has received the Patricia B. Lebkuecher Award. The honor recognizes a student who has demonstrated academic excellence while in pursuit of an associate degree.
Rachel Keyes and Austin Bonebrake have both been nominated for the Outstanding Graduate Award. The winner will be announced at the graduation ceremony on December 14.
