It all began in the spring of 2024 when Vol State approached the talented hot sauce-creating team of Two Heads – a “Pick Tennessee” certified hot sauce company that uses fresh, locally sourced peppers to ensure the best quality ingredients are used to blend each smoked hot sauce bringing you – heat you can taste!
This passion for peppers has transcended to a business venture that allows institutions such as Vol State to have their own hot sauce. Thus, the Pioneer Flavor Expedition was created! Referred to as Music City Heat – the red, habanero, and serrano peppers with agave give this sauce a nice kick. The sweet and smoky come through in this one in a unique way.

With each bottle sold through Two Heads of Pioneer Flavor Expedition, 10% of the proceeds will go to directly Vol State student scholarships through the Vol State College Foundation.
