A Farewell to the President at the Vol State Harvest Moon Soirée

Submitted on September 15, 2011 at 11:10 AM

The Harvest Moon Soirée will have a different theme this year as the Volunteer State Community College Foundation bids farewell to outgoing President Dr. Warren Nichols, with a farewell roast. The annual dinner and show raises money for student scholarships at Vol State. NorthCrest Medical Center is the Titanium Sponsor again this year.

Along with the roast, entertainment will be provided by the John Ford Dancers, followed by the musical group Good as Gold, playing dance hits from the 1970's to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the college.

The Harvest Moon Soirée will be held at 6:00 p.m on Friday, October 14 at the Epic Event Centre in Gallatin. The evening will begin with cocktails and a silent auction, and continue with dinner and the entertainment. Tickets are $75 per person. For sponsorship opportunities or to RSVP call 615-230-3526 or e-mail lori.johnson@volstate.edu
