Country classics will be delivered by a country legend in a special concert fundraiser at Volunteer State Community College. Larry Gatlin, best known for his solo country music career and his many hits while leading the Gatlin Brothers, will be performing on Saturday, May 11. The concert proceeds will benefit student scholarships at the college. The intimate solo concert will feature the country legend playing some of his biggest hits. Fans will remember songs such as "Broken Lady", "All the Gold in California" and "Houston (means I'm one day closer to you)". Gatlin will also have a message for Vol State students as he speaks during commencement ceremonies earlier that day.

Doors for the concert open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $25. They're available online at www.volstate.eventbrite.com with a credit card. Tickets can also be purchased in-person with a credit card, check or cash at the Vol State College Foundation office in Betty Gibson Hall on the Vol State campus at 1480 Nashville Pike in Gallatin.
