Bass Fishing Classes from Continuing Education

Bass fishing enthusiasts will be able to hone their skills with a special series of classes from Volunteer State Community College. Bass Techniques is returning to Vol State after a seven-year break. This year's event, entitled "Bass Techniques: The Cutting Edge", will concentrate on new and proven techniques and will be taught by five of America's top anglers. The classes are held on the following evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.: Wednesday, February 13-Ken Cook, Bassmaster Classic Champion and Bass Hall of Fame inductee. Monday, February 18-Paul Elias, Bassmaster Classic winner and FLW Champion. Wednesday, February 27-George Cochran, Bass Classic winner and FLW Champion. Wednesday, March 6th-Joey Monteleone, well-known Tennessee angler and outdoorsman.

Organizers bill the classes as America's premium and original bass fishing education program. Bass Techniques has been inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame for contributions to education and conservation. The enrollment fee is $99 for the entire four-week course.
