Volunteer State Community College and Austin Peay State University signed a Two-Plus-Two Agreement on Monday, November 19, 2012, at the Highland Crest Campus in Springfield. The event took place at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room.

Timothy L. Hall, president of Austin Peay State University, and Jerry L. Faulkner, president of Volunteer State Community College, were at the ceremony regarding the new agreement. The Two-Plus-Two Agreement is between Volunteer State Community College's A.S. in Criminal Justice and Austin Peay State University's B.S. in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security.

Highland Crest is a campus offering Volunteer State Community College and Austin Peay State University classes.
