Fall evening classes at McGavock High School

Evening classes provide a way for working students to get ahead in their college career. Volunteer State Community College is offering 25 evening classes at McGavock High School in Donelson this fall. Registration is open now. The classes include General Psychology, Beginning Spanish, Principles of Accounting, Computer Applications, Introduction to Wellness, Supervision Principles, English Composition and College Algebra. The College also has a number of classes designed for students in specific programs. This fall the Fire Science program features Spanish for Emergency Responders, Hazardous Materials, Fire Investigation and several other courses. Classes start August 27.
The McGavock location is a degree granting center for Vol State, which means students can take an entire degree program in Donelson, or take classes that will apply to other programs and degrees at the college. McGavock offers many general education requirement classes that will apply to many degrees and programs. They also provide an opportunity for students to take basic courses that can apply for credit at other colleges and universities. The complete list of fall classes can be found online at volstate.edu/schedule. Students can apply and register online or at the college campus at 1480 Nashville Pike in Gallatin. The Vol State McGavock High School Center is located at 3150 McGavock Pike in Donelson.
