Spring registration open for Vol State at Livingston

Volunteer State at Livingston is a degree granting center and there are dozens of courses coming up in for the spring semester. New classes include: Introduction to Physical Therapy, Medical Terminology, Developmental Assessment, Building Construction for Fire Protection, Health Information Technology (Saturday class) and Physical Science for Physical Therapy Assistant. For those looking for something a little different Vol State will also have a new physical education bowling class, with lessons at Bowling World in Cookeville, taught by instructor David Mays.

Vol State offers many general education classes in Livingston, to help students fulfill general education requirements at Vol State and other colleges and universities. They include courses such as Elementary Algebra and English Composition. The complete list of spring classes can be found on the College web site.

Livingston will be holding a registration day on January 12 from Noon until 6 p.m. Students will be able to register and talk to advisors. However, walk-in visits are fine at any time. Classes start on January 14.

New students will need to apply to the college before they can register for classes.
