Livingston Bluegrass and Barbecue Registration Celebration

Submitted on May 24, 2011 at 8:54 AM

Bluegrass and Barbecue usually means a party and in a sense the upcoming registration celebration at Volunteer State Community College at Livingston is a party, but with a very practical reason: to help students get registered for fall classes. It's all coming up on Thursday, June 16. It's a fun way to get ready for the fall semester and see what the new and expanded Livingston campus has to offer. Students don't have to register on that day. Registration will be open all summer. However, with increasing enrollment students are urged to register early to make sure they get the classes they want.

New students will need to apply to the college before they can register. That can be done online at www.volstate.edu or in-person at the campus. The Bluegrass and Barbecue Registration Celebration will be held on Thursday, June 16 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Livingston campus at 113 Windle Community Road. It is free and open to everyone. Call 931- 823-7065 for more information or toll free at 800-563-8220. Visit www.volstate.edu/Livingston for the fall class schedule.
