Enrollment is up again at Volunteer State Community College and that means students need to register soon to make sure they get the courses they want. Fall classes start August 28 and registration is open now.
Introduction to Photography and Digital Imaging is a hands-on course, introducing concepts in photography using digital equipment and software. It will help students develop skills in digital photography and image manipulation using Photoshop. The goal is the production of creative, well executed photographs with an awareness of historical and contemporary concepts in photography.
The Experience of Literature is being offered for the first time this fall. The course will examine literature from the ancient world to the modern period, looking for common themes, all to better understand literature from a cultural perspective. The goal is to make literature accessible to everyone.
Vol State fall class registration can be accomplished online or in-person. The fall schedule and catalog are available on the college website at www.volstate.edu . New students will need to fill out an application first. That can be done online or in-person by visiting the Office of Admissions in the Ramer Building room 173.
