II:01:09 Interinstitutional Relationships and Off-Campus Offerings
The purpose of this policy is to identify the campus units responsible for compliance with TBR Guideline A-020.
The Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs has primary responsibility for the identification of off-campus sites and centers and for the recommended schedule of credit classes at each location. Interinstitutional agreements or understandings are reviewed annually with the Vice President of Academic Affairs and any revisions deemed appropriate are negotiated among and between participating institutions.
The Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs is involved in and responsible for negotiations with other TBR institutions for credit program/course delivery to off-campus locations. The Assistant Vice President of Continuing Education and Economic Development is involved in and responsible for negotiations with other TBR institutions for non-credit program/course delivery to off-campus locations. In all cases, the institution complies with guidelines established in TBR Guideline A-020. The responsible parties communicate with other TBR institutions (within 30 days of the first date of the offering) when the delivery of courses and services is anticipated within 30 miles of another institution.
