III:03:02 In Progress Grades and Athletic Eligibility

Rationale

Under provisions of the 2007-08 NJCAA rules cited as Article V, Section 1.J, page 194 of the Handbook & Casebook, the YC grade “may be used as a passing grade if the course is continued in the next term.” The hours may be counted and two quality points given for each YC grade.

Eligibility

For athletic eligibility, ONLY, (not for institutional or graduation GPA) the calculation of the YC grade shall be in accordance with the provisions of the NJCAA rules.
