If you are having issues logging in to your account, you can change your password and unlock your account from the My VolState login page.
Click the 'Change or activate your password' link on the bottom left of the login page (you will need your V number and your birthdate to do this).
If you are still having login issues, Volunteer State Community College offers a direct point of contact for IT Assistance. (You need to have available the exact error message you received trying to use the link when you contact the IT Help Desk.)

IT Help Desk Support are located at the Main Campus. You may reach the IT Helpdesk by phone at 230-3302.
IT Lab Assistants are located at the Highland Crest (Springfield) Campus and the Livingston Campus.

- What type of assistance does an IT Lab Assistant provide?
IT Lab Assistants:
Monitor the general usage of the lab environment.
Provide general computer use information and printing information.
Do NOT do your class assignments.
Do NOT provide any form of tutoring. If tutoring is required, please contact the Division office for referrals to tutoring services.
Provide limited assistance with getting your laptop or wireless device onto the wireless network. You can find detailed instructions for setting up a wireless laptop connection under the "Student Wireless" link on the IT webpage. If you have followed the directions but are unable to connect, IT Lab Assistants can provide general assistance but are not allowed to physically work on your equipment.
- Where is the "open" computer lab?
The general use "open" computer lab has been relocated to the Thigpen Library. The lab is located behind the staircase on the first floor. The computers are loaded with specialized software to support the Business and Engineering curriculum. Hours of operation are posted near the entrance. Please remember that food and drinks are not allowed in any of the computer labs.
