Promotion & Tenure Committee (an ad hoc committee formed each spring term)

Committee Purpose

The purpose of the Promotion and Tenure Committee is to review faculty applications for promotion and/or tenure and make recommendations to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Committee Activities

1. Review applications for faculty promotion and tenure.
2. Make recommendations to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
3. Maintain academic policy regarding promotion and tenure.

Reporting Relationships

Reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs

Membership

• One tenured faculty member from each academic division
• Total membership: 5
