Promotion & Tenure Committee (an ad hoc committee formed each spring term)
Committee Purpose
The purpose of the Promotion and Tenure Committee is to review faculty applications for promotion and/or tenure and make recommendations to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
Committee Activities
- Review applications for faculty promotion and tenure.
- Make recommendations to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
- Maintain academic policy regarding promotion and tenure.
Reporting Relationships
Reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs
Membership
- One tenured faculty member from each academic division
- Total membership: 5
