Course Sequence
The General Business Administration — Computer Information Systems assosiate of applied science degree is designed to prepare students for work in the growing area of computer based Information Systems. Students are prepared to work in an environment where duties may include training, programming, assisting in systems analysis and design, developing and programming interactive web pages and database management. The graduate could be expected to assume responsibilities represented by titles including entry level programmer, entry level web designer/programmer, computer operator, LAN manager, training and support specialist, or computer software technician. Note: All General Business Administration (G.B.A.) students are required to take the Tennessee Board of Regents General Business Administration (GBA) Exam in order to meet graduation requirements.
