Job Description:
As a Claims Adjuster Trainee you will develop relationships with customers via the phone, investigate insurance policy coverage, determine fault in auto accidents, and document activity on each claim to resolve as quickly and accurately as possible. We're looking for someone who can work effectively with customers who've been in an accident while keeping an eye on the details.
Skills you will develop: decision making and conflict resolution in such areas as coverages to submitted claims, laws of jurisdiction to investigatory facts, application of policy exclusions and exceptions. Ability to effectively prioritize work. Written and verbal communication skills for contact and/or negotiation with policyholders, claimants, attorneys, physicians, agents and the general public. Ability to efficiently operate personal computer and software for claims-related and other business applications.
Our environment is FAST PACED! And requires the ability to sit and operate a telephone and personal computer for extended periods of time.
