Correction - Police Officer Testing Changed to July 24th & 25th

Job DescriptionThe City of Gallatin will be testing eligible police officer applicants on July 24th & 25th. Testing for police officer candidates is generally scheduled twice a year and does not necessarily indicate available openings. The eligibility list created as a result of this test may be considered active for a period of six months.

Persons wishing to test must apply on-line at under Employment at the top of the webpage and follow the instructions. Applicants may also come to City Hall at 132 W. Main Street and utilize the Personnel/HR Department computers to apply. All completed applications must be received no later than July 10, 2015.

Job RequirementsEligible applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, high school graduate/GED, be a U.S. citizen, have no felony convictions and be able to successfully pass psychological, physical, and polygraph exams as well as a drug screen.
