Mission Statement: On a foundation of Christian faith, the Martha O'Bryan Center empowers children, youth and adults in poverty to transform their lives through work, education, employment and fellowship.
SUMMARY
This is an opportunity to become part of a team of Child Development experts at a community-based Early Learning Center in Nashville as you help our earliest learners become ready for Kindergarten and beyond.
A part-time position is available in the afternoons.
With a classroom co-teacher and the support of a staff of family and learning specialists, you will instructs children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. You will demonstrate knowledge of care-giving routines, and their importance in establishing social and emotional foundations of success.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or Child Development, or enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's program; one to three months related experience and/or training are strongly preferred.
