Conduct deposit verification and/or change order preparation using specialized counting equipment and procedures. Separate currency, coin, and/or check deposits received from bank, ATM, and/or commercial customers, providing accurate count by denomination. Prepare currency and/or coin change orders by denomination for each customer assigned. Maintain a balanced currency and/or coin inventory.
? Operate coin and currency equipment and computer system components to verify customer deposits while meeting company and departmental accuracy and production guidelines. Prepare cash tickets and customer account entries.
? Prepare change orders and balance to each customer order list by denomination and by total. Complete end of day balancing and sell all remaining funds to vault.
? Maintain balanced cash drawer at all times.
? Identify all discrepancies upon awareness, alert supervisory staff, and conduct immediate search for resolution.
? Keep deposit and order currency and/or coin secure at all times at work-station and in the vault at the end of the shift/day.
? Accept incoming currency and coin deposits/orders and release outgoing shipments under dual control, and maintain accurate records of all exchanges. Assist in balancing the vault as needed.
? Perform additional duties assigned by supervisory staff.

Job RequirementsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
? High school graduate or equivalent
? One year cash handling experience, preferably as a teller or cashier
? PC knowledge and 10-key skills.
? Ability to stand on concrete floor approximately 80 percent of shift.
? Unrestricted ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, push and pull.
? Unrestricted wrist, hand and finger dexterity.
? Ability to push/pull dollies/carts loaded with cargo weighing up to several-hundred pounds.
? Ability to repetitiously lift bags of coin or currency weighing from 30-55 lbs. From ground level to a height of at least 4 feet.
? Ability to count, add and subtract, record numbers and signatures, read weights and distinguish coin denominations.
? Ability to work well individually as well as being a team player with a positive attitude.
